The Graduate Support Series is a special set of workshops offered by the UW-Madison Libraries in conjunction with the Graduate Student Collaborative and other graduate school departments. These workshops are part of the Graduate Student Professional Development Workshop Series.
The library workshops in the Graduate Support Series are specially tailored to those engaged with graduate study.

Abstract
Joint workshop offered by the Graduate School and UW Libraries. We will provide an overview of the external funding application process, including: important considerations for preparing to seek and apply for fellowships. Additionally, we will outline the types of grants available to graduate students, as well as important things to consider when preparing an application. Focus is on the biological and physical Sciences.
