The Museum of Living Sciences
at The University of Wisconsin-Madison
Webification
Complete Web presence designed into the Museum of Living Sciences from the start. As a result, the Museum is the only one in the world where:
All Displays are Available
All the Time
In Real Time
Around the World
The Museum reaches out everywhere by connecting all activities to the Internet's World Wide Web, in real time, all the time. No museum in the world does this, and the Museum could be the first to be designed to do this from the ground up.
This would include the options of:
remote viewing and participation in real-time experiments;
real-time live streaming video of experiments;
continuous data streams from ongoing experiments;
live Q&A "classroom" sessions with participants in dozens of countries;
Museum of Living Sciences vistors can access and participate in real-time experiments conducted elsewhere.
For more information on the potential for Webification of the Museum of Living Sciences, call Ken Smith at 608-221-4375.
