Nimblegen MS 200 Microarray Scanner
The Gene Expression Center is pleased to announce the acquisition of the NimbleGen MS 200 Microarray Scanner. This instrument can scan NimbleGen microarrays, and other slide-based array formats, at as low as 2 micron resolution. Additionally, the instrument has automatic gain and focus as well as automated loading and scanning of up to 48 slides. Additionally, the high performance computer attached to the scanner is capable of extracting data from 2 um images.
Training is available for this instrument; if interested please contact the GEC. Typically, the training takes about 1 hour and incurs the cost of our labor, $73/hr. The instrument currently has a fee for use of $50.00 per slide. The price listed here is for UW-Researchers only.
