Protein Technologies allows for synthesis scales from 12.5 µmol to 200 µmol per reaction vessel. 'Single Shot' delivery adds custom amino acids without the need for priming the line (decreases waste). Up to 6 peptides can be synthesized simultaneously at the same scale.
The Symphony from
Protein Technologies is a 12-reaction vessel parallel synthesizer. Multiple scale reactions (from 25 µmol to 200 µmol) can be synthesized simultaneously. Programmable manual control allows users to add custom and/or expensive amino acids with no wasted monomer.
The
MARS microwave efficiently heats reactions to reduce the time for manual coupling and deprotection. It can also be used for parallel library synthesis in 96 well plates. Users can be trained and sign up for time on the microwave.
The peptide center has 2 Beckman HPLCs - an analytical/semi-prep system and a prep system. Both systems have manual injection ports and fraction collectors.
The HPLCs can only be used by UW Peptide Synthesis staff.
