We offer custom peptide synthesis and characterization of peptides. We have several automated peptide synthesizers which allow for both natural and non-natural amino acid incorporation. Biotin, fluorescent markers, incorporation of stable isotopes, cyclic peptides, and conjugation to carrier proteins are routinely performed. Synthetic peptides are furnished
cleaved and deprotected as
lyophilized
powders. Synthesis and quality control analysis of a crude peptide typically takes 2 weeks.
You can also "Do It Yourself" (DItY)! We offer training and access to all of the peptide synthesizers in the facility. Create your own peptides at a reduced cost (and increased time commitment). Not recommended for researchers who plan on synthesizing less than 5 peptides in their academic career. Contact us to set up a training appointment.
