N-terminal modification is charged as another coupling (when the molecule being coupled is inexpensive). For expensive modifications, the user will be charged for the cost of the molecule and the coupling.
Unusual amino acids (pseudo-proline, C13 and N15 labeled, etc) will be paid for by the user.

Do-it-yourself (DitY) Synthesis Rates
Do-it-yourself researchers are welcome to the facility upon completing training. Researchers should plan on synthesizing at least 5 peptides in their career at the UW.
