Custom Vector Design

TAF staff expert in molecular biology techniques can construct transgenic or targeting vectors for your project for a time and material recovery fee.  We will work with you to design a vector suitable for your experiment using the guidelines described in Gene Targeting Vectors.  We have designed and produced transgenic, knock-out, knock-in, and conditional knock-out vectors for a number of UW-Madison investigators.  Please contact Patricia Powers (papowers@wisc.edu) or (608) 263-0637 to set up a meeting to discuss your project, if you are interested in this service.
