Parking

Parking around the University of Wisconsin-Madison without planning ahead will likely dampen your visit here. To help alleviate this, we have provided information on some of the lots around the campus where you may park. We have included information such as the location of the lot and whether the lot has metered parking or requires a permit. Lot 17

• Located on the Engineering Campus near Stadium
• Need a permit between the hours of 7 am-4:30 pm M-F, after restricted hours no permit needed

Lot 20

• Located on University Avenue Between MSC and UWBC Buildings
• Need a permit between the hours of 7 am-4:30 pm M-F, after restricted hours no permit needed
• Limited permit availability with previous authorization

Lot 40

• Located on the Agriculture Campus behind Babcock Hall and the Stock Pavillion
• Need a permit between the hours of 7 am-4:30 pm M-F, after restricted hours no permit needed

Lot 42

• Located off of University Avenue
• Need a permit between the hours of 7 am-4:30 pm M-F, after restricted hours no permit needed
