The UW-Madison Science Alliance has a range of members, including outreach staff, faculty members involved in outreach, and graduate students in science or science education. Our members are involved in both K-12 and adult science outreach. Click here to learn more about our members.
Science Alliance meets regularly at the UW-Madison Biotechnology Center, 425 Henry Mall, rm. 1360. In the fall, we meet regularly to discuss ways we can work together, discuss strategies for K-12 outreach, and learn about new outreach venues on campus. In the spring, we typically meet weekly to plan for the Science Expeditions and Family Horticulture Day events. Meetings are convened by Kevin Niemi of the Center for Biology Education.
