Engineering EXPO, April 19-21, 2001
A college student in a  university owned foundry talks to a circle of grade school children in this photo. Fourth-grade students from Northside Elementary School, Middleton, watched as college students poured 1,500-degree aluminum into a mold in the engineering foundry.
On the vast indoor football field at the universityÁs McClain Center, kindergarten through fifth-grade students nestled raw eggs into padded containers theyÁd made from recycled materials, then hurled them over a volleyball net, hoping theyÁd be the closest to a target with the egg still intact. Future Fair, winter 2000
