| The purpose and goal of this site is to provide Extension Agents, teachers of adults and other opinion leaders a complete range of images, analogies, texts, data, background knowledge, and any other materials needed to help the public come to grips with the social, economic and ethical aspects of Agricultural Biotechnology. These will include basic science backgrounders, news analyses and briefings, academic papers and publications, practical demonstration and learning kits, video movies, slides, handouts and evaluation materials to assist teachers of adults in preparing presentations. | ||||||||||||

Rick Klemme is the
Associate Dean for Extension in UW-Madison's College of Agricultural and
Life Sciences and Program Leader for UW-Extension's Agricultural and Natural
Resources program area. In this capacity, Rick serves as the liaison between
UW-Madison and UW-Extension on matters related to agricultural extension
programming by state specialists and county agents. In terms of the SEE
Biotechnology project, Rick will work with the Wisconsin project team to
facilitate professional development opportunities for extension staff in
the social, economic, and ethical aspects of biotechnology. Rick will also
