Registration requests will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Persons who register after the conference is filled will be placed on a wait list and notified of their status.
Registration Includes: Conference materials, breaks, Tuesday and Wednesday lunch. Lodging for this conference will also be reimbursed if it is required to attend due to travel distance. Airfare, mileage, meals (except for those listed above) and miscellaneous expenses incurred while traveling or at the conference will not be reimbursed. A confirmation notice will be e-mailed upon receipt of the registration form.
Lodging Accommodations:
Room blocks are being held for November 18 and 19 for conference participants at the rate of $62/single and $82/double until October 18 at two area hotels. Rates are not guaranteed after the release date of October 18. Be sure to mention that you are attending the Biotechnology Conference to receive the special rates.

Noon November 20 Lunch options (all are served with corn bread and refillable sodas):
  1. Vegetarian Red Beans and Rice — slow cooked with the Cajun trinity of onions, celery and peppers.
  2. Jammin' Jambalaya — smoked chicken, pork and andouille sausage, simmered with caramelized veggies, spices and rice.
  3. Seafood Gumbo — a dark roux thickened stew with shrimp, oysters, veggies and file.
  4. Crawfish Etouffee — a spicy stew with onions, green peppers, tomato and herbs smothered with crawfish and served with white rice.
Reimbursement: All participants will initially make make and pay for their own lodging accommodations. Lodging reimbursements will be issued after the conference by submitting a Travel Expense Form, with lodging receipt attached, no later than December 18. Non-state employees can use the same form and we'll send you a check. Send lodging reimbursement requests by mail only to: CALS Outreach Services, 620 Babcock Dr., Madison, WI 53706 or fax at (608) 262-5088. Travel expense worksheets will be made available at the conference. You can download a Travel Expense Form at http://www.bussvc.wisc.edu/acct/travel/forms.html, but the forms must be submitted on paper, not online.
