mRNA-Seq linux-based workshop

In this workshop we'll focus on differential gene expression analysis (DEG) with alternate methods to those viewed on the linux-based workshop. We will use R packages: DESeq2, edgeR which use read-counts tables for analysis. We will review the creation of read-counts tables as well as normalization methods. As much as possible plots will be created with the R package ggplot2.

This is an all day workshop with emphasis on hands-on exercises.

* There is a minimal set of software that should be installed on laptops BEFORE attending the workshop. Instructions will be provided to attendees prior to the workshop and can be found within the PDF document: Preparation for R-based workshop
