Background: Sandra has been a member of the Gene Expression Center since 1999. Prior to coming to the UW, Sandra was a cellular and molecular biologist in the CAPD division, working on antibiotic producing organisms, at Abbott Laboratories, North Chicago, IL. Sandra received her bachelors in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Masters of Applied Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
Tyler Duellman, PhD
Tyler received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014. His focus was on better understanding the role that genetic variation played in gene regulatory pathways and how altered regulation could ultimately lead to pathophysiological conditions. For his post-doctoral research, he studied gene expression patterns of the peripheral nervous system and its contribution to chronic pain development. His scientific passion has always been to develop or leverage existing technologies to better address biological questions.
